The episodes have closure, but not wrapped up in tidy packages. The show has continuity WITHOUT unnecessary teasers. Relationships develop but not as desparate attempts to keep us watching. The characters could have been played out as typical cookie cutter people (tough guy, liberated daughter, mischievious sons...). But the cast members breathe new life into old roles. Don't get me wrong, the show is just ok, nothing spectacular. But I bet those involved in the production of this show simply had a good time practicing their showbiz craft. Quirky, fun, a must see if you like the extraordinary ordinary!
