Bad plot? Yeah. Sexist themes? (American Pie sexist). Of coarse. Racist jokes? Yes. However, despite all the criticism directed toward this movie for its (apparently numerous) short comings, I think the critics forget that not every movie is meant to be Hollywood gold. After all we would not have blockbusters without film fodder to compare them to. I would consider this a great movie in comparison as it plays to our less refined sense of humor, but very enjoyable none the less. If you like surfing, beach bums, and sexy blond Swedish babes, you will really enjoy this movie. I sure did.

Horrible acting, horrible humor, horribly written, horrible soundtrack, horrible editing, altogether horrible story. Throughout the movie, I felt embarrassed for the actors; it seemed like they were desperately trying to be funny and they just weren't. It's good if you have an hour and a half to waste and want to spend it watching something completely brainless (as well as disgustingly sexist, racist, and generally ignorant). Great example of how NOT to make a movie. Hot bodies don't justify making a movie this bad!

When the Kathy Bates chic went skipping down the sidewalk I thought I would die laughing. Also, there is an abundance of beautiful flesh. mmmmm. It was enough to overlook some bad acting.

Ok as a surfer some parts were funny and some parts were cool, but the movie was really boring. I'm going to go surf now haha
