They (agri-business) really have patented genetics, it's despicable. They own anything with certain genes in it. I think its unbelievable what they have done to harm not only the environment and other people around the world, but every American that eats pretty much anything. There was no testing so who can say if the food is even safe or if its causing more disease, more obesity etc.? Not to mention it is pretty much a monopoly on food, and financially terrible for the farmers to have to pay, year after year, for seed they grow themselves. It makes more and more chemicals necessary. It's a downward spiral in quality, quantity, and health.

It was also much more serious on This American Life. The true story came complete with tense corporate behind-the-scenes maneuvering and covert meetings between half a dozen executives from Japan, the US, and other parts of North America.It's a shame they went for the light comedic route when they could have really made something even more complete than Russell Crowe's performance. It's corn, but the price rigging that took place in an industry that makes tobacco look like the coin collecting market affects billions of lives every single day from the second you reach for your morning coffee.

though this movie looks bad : ( some funny parts im sure but overall you would waste 120 minutes and laugh about 5x xD

to know that this is just another Soderbergh propaganda piece that won't appeal to anyone with a working brain in their skull.
