is such a joke! They operate their banks the same exact way and have been from the its conception. Stanford did nothing different by using money from new customers to pay off debts from old customers - ALL BANKS DO THAT!!! Anyone who thinks their money is sitting in a box with their name on it, is greatly mistaken . The minute you put your money in the bank, they use it to pay debts and other things.

Dumb Americans need to start watching their own money and stop trusting others. The minute you relinquish money (and anything else you own for that matter) over to another, you no longer have control of its safety. Dummies!

It amazes how when people invest in off shore uninsured Banks, then lose their money because of their greed and are so surprised they lost the investment. They only hear what they want to hear like little children.

That is why we have the FDIC here in the USA.
If you gamble with your money you may lose it.

This "victim" refers to a safe investment, but in reality was looking for a high yield on this money. He was what you call greedy.

I'm surprised how impartial they did the reporting. The reporter asked serious questions but didn't drill it in, assuming Stanford is legitimate. They also could of found plenty of people to cry on TV about losing their savings but didn't. Just the facts, which is how reporting is supposed to be.
