So in Episode 7 this guy is suspicious because his girl's been acting differently lately. Most notably that she takes his dog, that she doesn't even really like, to the dog park daily and has never done that before. So the private investigator he hires (our Love Stinger Sandra Hope) immediately devises an elaborate multi-character ploy to see if his fiance is open to hooking up on the side (with some dude that all involved know is far better looking than she is).
So they decide to do the sting at the aforementioned dog park. The mark, unaware that anything is amiss, shows up all dolled up in a dress (the fiance even mentions the dress while he watches the live feed later on) and instead of holding back and waiting ten minutes to see if the guy she's banging from the dog park (who she's clearly here to see) shows up, they barge in immediately and start to try to set her up with some stupid story about an out of town BF and a double date.
Then, at the double date picnic Xanadu is openly victorious and smiling her butt off when, against all odds and frankly constituting a small miracle, Xanadu's bumbling attempts are successful and the woman actually shows up (and that was thanks entirely to "Mario", and his stupid good looks.)
So a couple of times I've heard different people on this show talk about how much care and importance are placed on the client. But this poor Jarad guy got gouged for thousands of dollars, (2 decoys, hidden cameras, RV, picnic dinner, bouquet of flowers, wine, etc.). when a simple stake out probably could have discovered what the guy wanted to know. And then Xanadu, who knows the client is watching remotely, is visably ecstatic that the girl showed up, breaking the guys heart, and eventually a bunch of picnic supplies. Seems the client is mostly an afterthought and financial backer.
These people are strictly amateurs.
