I don't know who they've got doing the commentary but they're terrible. They sound like they hate each other, and it isn't entertaining, it's just awkward. The mention of Notorious BIG was strange but all of the bickering was worse.They should repackage this brand, reduce the production value, and give it a "grassroots" feel. I think that would cost less and be much more entertaining. This is the"different" direction ECW was supposed to take on "SyFy." Am I really expected to believe this is *extreme* championship wrestling? I feel like if they called it WWE Superstars I would be fine with it because that's basically what it is... watching recaps and then mediocre wrestling. Christian and Evan Borne are wonderful exceptions but, c'mon, Mark Henry? D: ECW used to mean no disqualifications, lots of variety in match-types, and awesome, sometimes questionable storylines.What I just watched had nothing of the ECW spirit to it. Hearing the audience start up "ECW" chants almost on cue when a high-flyer takes to the outside... it's somewhat embarrassing. Real ECW fans wouldn't have been chanting "ECW" if they witnessed this live, they would have been chanting "boring" and "change the channel."
