Hollywood is in a rut now, making re-makes and sequels until no end...

@ Israel Rico, you can see it, go rent it from the video store, its made it to the light of DVD by now. This movie is even available on VHS for those who still have a VCR.

Next up the movie 'Footloose' is supposed to be re-made with the guy from High School Musical in the lead.

If its older the 20 years, expect it to be re-made by Hollywood...

Megan Mullaly, Kelsey Graham, Bebe Neuwirth. These actors don't choose movies that aren't good. They're all Broadway and TV and movie gold. They have their pick. They chose to do this. That's got to mean something. I'm gonna go see it.

I agree with the poster who said, "meh". This is just the trailer, but comparing the 1980's kids to these 2000 kids..the 80's kids LOOKED hungry, beat, ripped up, greasy..and were raw talented. This looks like high school musical. The kids look cheery , clean, cute, ready to bust our in Jimminy Cricket gear and sing "when you wish upon a star" so sweetly that you'll clap in the theater... and as far as the trailer goes, don't look hungry enough. I'm sure the movie will do fine, if High School Musical is any indication. But for me, it's too "plasticated" - at least that's how the trailer portrays it.

Every generation has it's fame I got chills listening,and watching these fresh faces. And so I say , maybe this will be a showcase and not a knock off. I say give it a chance.

Seems like there are boat loads of movies just like this one. I dont see this one being different from all the others. Hard to get a true feel for the movie from a trailer tho
