Lots of good info on both white and red wines for the beginner. Reese is completely down to earth and sincere in his likes and dislikes. Wines showcased in the show are from the California vinyards
I'm just starting to get into wine and this documentary was exactly what I needed! John has just the right attitude and the comedic moments made it entertaining as well. I definitely will appreciate my wines more after this!
Ah, yes...I always enjoyed Catawba Island wines. Mon Ami is a particular favorite. I've not had a chance to sample the Tennessee wines where I live yet, but I'm planning on doing it after the major harvests.

I enjoyed this documentary. It was fun, informative and entertaining.I enjoyed John Cleese's writing & delivery. For all the Wine Snobs, this man dined with the Queen of England and says that the wines were slightly sweet; my favorite kind of wine. One cannot get more upper crusty than the Queen of England in speaking of European socio-economics can they?I recommend this video for all my wine connoisseurs and those that just enjoy wine.
Everybody is a beginner at some point. Cleese shares some of the initial questions that a beginner would have. A great foundation for anyone taking interest. Cleese is not "feigning ignorance" as much as he is being deliberately unpretentious. For a subject like wine, that is important.
