Watch the halloween episode again there is an old guy that recognized Daisy Adare
so yes Daisy and Rube both normally look different then they did in Life which doesn't mean that they all look like crackheads like George. but if u watch the episode when George had to Reap the Rock Star it seemed like the writers kinda forgot that she is supposed to look like a crackhead. there are allot of inconsistencies like this in the series but over all it was one of the most thought out and mesmerizing shows i have ever watched and i wish there was more See 7 other replies

I would guess so, but about the projection; she's called beautiful and cute throughout the series by non reapers so I'm guessing her first reaction to her new appearance was meant to be over dramatic. See 4 other replies

This was a really good episode... Sad in some ways, but ultimately heartwarming. Ronnie was really cute and sweet.

The projection isn't really ugly (at least the actress isn't) they just did her makeup to make her look pale and sketchy. I'm sure if George does her makeup every morning, her reaper self doesn't look that bad. But I do think he can see the real her. See 4 other replies

I think it's also to show that she isn't very smart, or is playing dumb.. good job, you're smarter than her :P
