I may be mistaken but I believe two of my favorite books may have been written by this same author specifically "Bloodsucking Fiends" and it's corresponding sequel "You Suck" . That is, if it's the same Cristopher Moore responsible for "Island of the Sequined Love Nun", "Practical Demonkeeping" and "Coyote Blue". I also seem to remember one about a lusty lizard or something but it's just on the outer reaches of my memory and i can't recall the full title at the moment. See 4 other replies

The Flying Wallenda's are a group of tightrope walkers. They do not do trapeze work. most of the time they worked without a net. In fact that is how the old man died.

I'm 14 and from what I remember, the 's' word was used profusely, but beyond that, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to see it.

I just finished reading "A Dirty Job" which was recommended to me by a freid, after he watched DLM, at my recommendation!
I'm looking forward to reading more Christopher Moore books, which all seem to take a similar bent of re-worked mythologies.

I love the mythological structure of DLM, and think it is a crying shame that Bryan Fuller did not get to oversee all the episodes. After he left, some of the premises fell apart becaue--I think--his vision was not there.
