sweet promo. I'm in high anticipation of this film if not for any reason but to see how many people get there panties in a twist. Bobcat's humour is so poignantly based in a heightened reality, i assume this film will get negative reviews solely based on it's so-called crude language. Oh, but i anticipate an undercurrent of heart and compassion that will save it from obscurity. Poopcock

After seeing the the trailer on hulu i thought World's Greatest Dad looked like an entertaining movie, so i looked it up on IMDB to find out more. After reading the summary on IMDB i thought there might be two movies with the same title; the trailer makes it seem like a whole different movie than the summary describes. It looks and sounds like a funny movie regardless...the trailer is very misleading though.

Saw this film at the Waterfront Film Festival. Very dark. The actor playing the son was brilliant. Robin Williams was good too. But the plot is very dark and in the end none of the characters are at all likable. IMHO the trailer looks better than the movie was. I don't know that it isn't worth seeing...but it's not easy to watch.
