To begin with, it is interesting that the series is about Canada. I don't often sing a lot of praise for TV and what is accepted by the public at large as "entertainment." I find that this show was one of the better shows that was on the idiot box, then and now, in part because of Canada and how people think, which is a little different than in the US. Usually Canadian's work very hard and have a civic pride that is difficult to find in the US, perhaps because people in the US are rather spoiled? Who knows, but the attitudes are different, even in the worst of times in Canada than in the US. The show showed several of the things that are pleasingly unique in Canada. It would be nice if more shows were about Canada. I think it would help the people of the two countries come together better? It is not only well produced and directed, but the actors were good in the roles that they played. This show had the ability, I think at least, to go on for years and I wish it would have.

Shame this only had 2 "seasons" (or half seasons if you count the low episodes per season which may be why it died). Good show overall. Since this is from 2002-2003, it really raises the question as to where the 2nd season is... and why it isn't on here.
