I also agree, chichenitza. As you know, it took cable to come out with something like "House" and other serial dramas like "Burn Notice" and "Damages". Its nice that "Stone" has a real sense of humor. They have done very good character development that holds your interest from episode to episode. Look at the stars like Glenn Close and Ted Danson who are doing cable instead of cinema now. Even the commercials are better than the reality TV on broadcast.
With "ER" gone the plot development on broadcast is pretty thin. Also, there has been interesting Canadian TV, most popular being DaVinci's Inquest. Other Canadian programs of interest being "Re Genesis" and one I hope Hulu also screens, "Due South".
"Due South" was a CBS-Canadian government production which lasted about 5 seasons and now has a growing cult following. The Canadian government knows that are more reasons than money to produce quality programming. It is great that Hulu is re airing some of these gems.
Folks, if you are looking for some good escape TV check out "Stone Undercover" and some of the other Canadian TV you can find. Canadian TV is more than just hockey and "Second City". Now, I live in AZ, just about as far as you can get from Canada.
