It's alway funny to read "I've now wasted 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back." I bet we have all wasted a lot more than 3 hours if we are watching showa that were cancelled. LOL
The Asian juror implied she had been a rape victim/survivor. I'm not a lawyer, but I've served on enough juries to know that any competant defense attorney would have discovered her bias during voir dire and rejected her from that jury. The point is, in this kind of show, since the science has no relation to reality, they should at least get the law right. Happily Century City was cancelled after 9 episodes, but I've now wasted 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back.
I LOVE the actor who plays Lukas! He was also great as the protagonist in the film "Amazing Grace." I wish we saw more of him on other shows, there is something extremely appealing about him. To those who pointed out that the boyfriend was violated too, I totally agree—but I think that she was violated just as much if not more, especially since it was the rapists' intent to mentally and emotionally torment the woman. But yeah, I was surprised that no mention was made of how her boyfriend's rights and privacy were invaded. And I agree that in real life, the judge would have tested the device's effects before allowing it to be experienced by the jury. The child star storyline was boring to me, but I other than that, I enjoyed this episode. They tried a bold experiment with this show, and while some areas are weak, I think it is vastly better than most of what is on tv right now.
The juror at the end could have been talking about anyone—I think the writers left it purposefully ambiguous. My take on it was that she was not talking about herself (remember that she was unconvinced of the rapists' at first). She could have been talking about all the other victims who would be violated as a result of this new technology, or she could have even been talking about the lawyer himself—sensing that the win had been a personal vindication for him.
I'm no lawyer, but I would have had a stronger case (even a criminal case) if I had argued that it was the boyfriend/fiancee that had been violated. After all, the nanocytes (sp?) has been slipped in HIS drink.
Tags are user-generated labels related to this video or show that can help you discover related videos on Hulu. Check the tags you feel are most appropriate for this video or add your own (the number in parentheses indicates how many other users have used that tag.) To find other videos with similar tags, simply click on the tag that interests you most.

You can tag videos yourself by simply checking the box next to a popular tag for a video or by using the "add" field to create a new tag.
