A lot of detail was not presented, which is essential to good understanding of the Royals as persons of great leadership and stature.
For example two facts about Elizabeth II that were omitted were:
1) She, as a teenager, served in a civilian corps during WWII and worked as a truck mechanic.
and...
2) She held weekly radio broadcasts to the children displaced by the Blitz, and these broadcasts were a major factor instilling a sense of Hope and determination in the British people.
This documentary dismissed her WWII efforts with one terse and inaccurate statement: "She led a cloistered life at Windsor during the war.".
In fact she was not located at Windsor at all.
