Okay, I admit it was not an obvious approach, the video, but c'mon guys! Someone else said it: THINK about it. This video went shatteringly well with the song! His "led around" nonchalant behavior was a parody. We just don't sit and contemplate the way we used to. I saw some guy on Brink saying that our current culture is losing its ability to think and contemplate deeply and while the information age has given us a broader general knowledge we are losing the ability to deeply ponder the more esoteric importance of things. At the time I thought he was wrong, but perhaps he has a point after all.DMB you still rock our whole world.

You have to look deeper than just the surface to see the drive behind the lyrics and video. Think.

I don't know what was going on behind the scenes when they made this music video, but it's TERRIBLE!!! This song could have a really awesome video if it was at all relevant to the song, instead of a bunch of close ups of Dave Matthew's face and him constantly changing clothes. It's like everyone involved was high.

the video has nothing to do, or is even remotely close to the words or meaning in the song!
However the song is fantastic.

The song sounded like a good song with a good message behind it, but it lost all meaning when paired up with this music video. I don't know if DMB started having contests for aspiring children directors to send in storyboards and scripts for their music videos, but this video, as well as their last video for "Eh Hee" were so incredibly insane and pointless that I felt like I was watching a show for 3 year olds.Don't get me wrong, I love Dave Matthew's music, but he should seriously consider never making another music video again. Either that or just have the music video be a live performance of the song.

"This isn't funny" posted at the very start of the video is a beautiful way to incorporate the lack of social awarness into the video. Dave Matthews is a very conscious aware individual whom has turned his fame into a voice of reason. There are monumental issues we as a society must First Realize, then and only then can we begin to find a solution. The greed of those whom are given grows as their bank accounts grow infinetily. I greatly admire the creative and genuine approach to the social issues Matthews takes on and reinvents as his own. The nonshalant attitudes are moked and given a face in a way that is not commonly done in the media. Art is in the eye of the observer, there are a multitude of ways Matthews could have expressed his message and I do believe he choose the correct one. Making a statement that will be interpreted by the public as they choose to do so. I thank those with the curage to give their creative approach to a social injustice my full admiration and gratefu they do so. With Great Admiration
