Ok, the first season of Sliders was amazing. I loved and looked forward to seeing the different cultures, environments, and looks of each earth. I even loved seeing how each of the Sliders would respond to it.
Now it's all about chase scenes and sexual inuendos. Really sad to see such a great concept brought down by the motto "sex sales" Having Maggie, the supposed grieving widow, constantly in suggestive situations is laughable. She's supposed to be sliding to get revenge for her lost love, yet in the previous episode she seems totally over him and ready for a fling. Come on, give viewers some credit.
I love the concept of exploring new Earths, but this chasing one man from place to place and not spending any time on developing the new Earths is why the show faded away. There's only so many episodes a person will watch out of loyalty and hope.

Umm, dang I agree with most of the reviews; this show went downhill this season. Although, I do like Maggie more than I like Wade. Wade has always just been a pile of uselessness (aside from her matrix like computer knowledge...)
Why didn't they let Rickman just die. You know, destroy his timer, get them back to just running around. Would have liked that better.

Arturo died on the world from which the settlers came, not the one to which they went, which is where this episode takes place.

I preferred Colonel Rickman when the role was played by Roger Daltrey. The show was also much better with Professor Arturo. Like Wade said 6:57 "What I want is for things to be back the way they were before". On the other hand, if a person goes out of their way to find quirkiness in a science fiction show they are definitely going to find some. 8:06 Quinn looks at the child's drawing of a dinosaur and says "Yeah that's a t-rex.
