okay so i've always been a fan of Jerry O'Connell so i thought i would love this show. It is obviously from about 15 years ago, so i get the crappy cgi. This show has a really cool idea and plot....and the first season was pretty good, but then the second got a little iffier, and the third is just not even on the same level as either of the first two. I have seen at least 4 rip-off versions of movies: the episode where the world's without water and a girl holds the key to finding it is a lot like WaterWorld (with Keven Costner), except its got the role of water switched around so it wasn't too bad. Then the episode that was about the magical world is just basically another spin-off of all the Merlin stories. Then you have the one where Rembrandt is pregnant....there have been a few movies that that one ripped off (Junior, Rabbit Test, etc.). And lastly (so far that i've seen) is this past one with the giant killer mutated monster worm copying the idea from many movies. I personally don't mind....it's just getting a little old when this series started out with a lot more emotion and more connections between the cast members. Now in every episode, one or more of the four stars falls for someone they're helping, even though they've known them at most for three or four days. It's just obvious the writers/directors were running low on ideas for the script. ooooo funny thing! :). watch at the end of this video.....when Prof. Arturo jumps "through the vortex" lol you can see the stunt mat flap up!!! :) hehehe. i laughed.

I am an avid fan of Sliders. When i saw Hulu had the first three seasons of sliders it made me giddy(and yes i said giddy). Now i know Sliders had a few bad episodes but come on, i didn't think they where all in season three, that tells me if i ever buy the series on dvd to skip season three. Shame is most of the episodes I remember for being good i have pretty much seen already. When you think of that, you have to admit that is pretty sad. Now i know i got some gaps here i'm trying to fill in like i don't know why wade left or how Quinn and his brother became one person that i would like to know. The only episodes i find myself looking forward to now are all the Cromagg episodes that i have yet to see.

Two shows in a row about B movie monsters??? This show is SLIDING into the trash compactor.And once again, both Quinn and Wade falling for pretty faces without knowing anything about them. At least they are consistent. This show annoys me to no end, but I keep on watching it because of the characters themselves. They are all sincere and brave, and they care about each other so much. They would do anything for each other. So many of today's shows feature characters who are cynical, sarcastic, uncaring, or violent. It's refreshing to see four unrelated people, friends cast into a common fate, who are not afraid to love each other.I don't know about Tremors, actually this whole storyline is a ripoff of Dune. The worms of Arrakis excrete a blue spice called melange that has life-lengthening properties.At least Quinn has learned to fight after all the trouble he's had.

I have to say the earlier episodes were more focused on differences in culture, history ect.. not just about action. This episode being so focused on saving people from the "monster" is one that you can easily pass over. Unless you just love Sliders there's nothing to gain from watching it. It's one of those episodes where you are like "eh" at the end. Not so bad that you turn it off but not so good that you tell others to watch.
