I read some of the other reviews before I wrote this one and I saw how most of the reviews are mixed. I think my favorite scene from this episode was when the professor went to tell rembrant that someone drugged his coffee. This episode's theme reminded me alot of the movie Inception. I actually loved the idea of the episode with the dream invaders. There were alot of aspects of the episode that raised questions like, If the dream invader wanted to kill wade why didn't he telepathically send her into a seizure like he did with the guy in the beginning. Also, how were they able to invade people's dreams or minds for that matter without some sort of physical connection. I noticed some reviews raised the question of why the people of that earth or the sliders didn't use violence to stop the dream invader.
Maybe the dream invaders only have a short range to take control of someones mind while their awake and it did seem that the dream invader wanted wade for some reason(maybe to dance in a cage like the other slave girls in their lair or maybe to perform sexual acts who knows). So maybe that explains why he didn't kill her in the bar and also why he was powerless outside of her dreams once she was not near by. The people of this earth may be afraid of the dream invaders just like the people of this earth have been afraid of organized crime and gang members. They know that if they go after the dream invaders then the dream invaders in another town may come after them in retaliation. Obviously they have instilled fear in the people of this earth. The sliders seem to only use violence as a last resort.
