Are you a true reader of the bible or have you joined a group of people who are against it and is this one of the arguments you came up with, because if you know the bible and read that article of it in context, it was NOT talking about Christmas trees. The Christmas tree came about literally over a thousand years after that passage had been written and was speaking in reference to False idols that were almost 99% of the time made of wood cut from trees and yes, it was decorated and displayed but not in the essence of Christmas. We don't worship or pay tribute to the Christmas tree. It's a customary practice, like birthdays and yes it does take after a paganistic ritual, but for many, if not most of us, we do not believe what the pagans do/did.   See 14 other replies
