And I despise those Family Guy jokes that go on forever. The point of this joke is the length of time given to discussion of the matter. The gripping oratory, the logos, the pathos, the classical organization schema. All over an issue that just happens to bug the honorable representative, at the moment. I get that it's supposed to be a satirical jibe at long winded and inane congressional discourse, but this sketch could use some editing itself. A minute or so is funny, but going on three minutes smothers the joke to death.
