Actually, there is a very good reason to prefer single/double season shows.An important part of every story is an ending. Never-ending series lack that essential ingredient. There is nothing wrong with enjoying a journey, but it is always good to arrive at an actual destination at the end of it.When the writers actually have an ending in mind, and a schedule to get to it, they manage to squeeze more actual plot into every episode.

Funny how it seems all those one season shows seems to be better than the many season shows....... Shuffle seems to be another to my list along with Trigun and more.....
