lol FYI... my "rant" or "mumbo jumbo" as you've labeled it had nothing to do with the fact that everyone hates fillers. Do I love fillers, of course not! Do I wish Shippuden would catch up with the manga,yes. However, because I'm aware that posting on this obscure forum will do little to change the fact that fillers will continue... I don't feel the need to whine about it. My post was basically about the recurring themes everyone was complaining about which occurred IN the filler. (Home, never give up etc.)The point was, since these story arcs have no bearing AT ALL on the main storyline it doesn't matter if they're repetitive or not! Because if they are filler then technically in Kishimoto's world they don't exist! I'm guessing, the anime team is just trying to reinforcing the basic themes outlined by the manga in each story arc so that the filler has some sense of continuity with the main story and the series isn't disjointed.Hope this "mumbo jumbo" was a bit clearer. ;o)   See 25 other replies

Dattebayo doesn't translate to anything in English because it's a suffixed ending. It's really hard to explain the implication of the phrase, and "believe it" probably isn't far off. "Dattebayo" implies a lack of respect, and brashness. The implied meaning depends on the context also, and "believe it" falls short of showing any contextual information.   See 25 other replies

I don't hate fillers, they give me something to watch when I'm bored waiting for the new episode.....but, I find them extremely annoying right now. Why? Because fillers usually serve as episodes to buy some time between the manga and the anime. That way animators don't have to rush with an episode and try to catch up to the current plot. Nothing wrong with that right? Right.EXCEPT when the current manga arc is 88 chapters AHEAD of the anime. 88 IS A LOT OF CHAPTERS. A WHOLE LOT.. at this rate, naruto won't catch up to the current arc for a year or so. or worse, it'll end up like inuyasha and soul eater, , and QUIT HALFWAY THROUGH THE SERIES. THAT'S WHY PEOPLE HAVE A VALID REASON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT FILLERS. ANY OTHER REASON IS JUST WHINING ABOUT IT.   See 9 other replies
