This really moved me. The obvious emotion, the reality of that past, those experiences, hit hard. Sure, the movie is designed as a tearjerker, but the substance that provokes those emotions is genuine, and worthy of contemplation.
I found some of the stories very interesting. Especially the one veteran's explanations of how he coped mentally with the situation, despite how much it obviously impacted him. It is a study in willpower, and the glories of human nature.
It was so good I watched the entire thing and commented on it before going to play Skyrim. Now for videogames!
