When Conan was off the air moving to LA, I was moving from Utah to Michigan. My dad works at Arches National Park in Moab Utah where Conan shot one of the scenes from this clip...Dad got to wave to Conan as he headed into the park ;_; and Conan waved back. I WISH I WAS THERE TO GET CONAN'S BLESSING! <cries>

I've watched this several times, and shown it to at least a dozen people. Who else would have gone through this for a few minutes of an opening? Conan did a s**t ton of running, and that's assuming they did each location in one take, which is doubtful. He's destined for comedy legend status, and this will be the evidence someday.

Extremely creative and just a pure funniness to it. I expected no less! And thanks for debuting Chicago! Plus, to organize it so that you could run through the field had to be incredible!

Props to the production crew of this five minute clip that obvisously took hours to film over the several months the show was off the air. And props to conan for being willing to do all that running. Also, and this may be a bit meta, but what a wonderful way to say "our show will/should appeal to the entire country". Also, also, it's just beautul to way to show the majestic epic beauty of our country.

This cold open is brilliant! Cheap trick/Conan. Can you ask for anything more??

Glad to see Conan's brand of edgy comedy still intact. Will it aggravate the Tonight Show faithful? Yup. Get used to it, people. Change is good.
