First let me start by saying that I DID jump through much of the movie, but I think I caught enough to form a valid opinion.
The potential was definitely there [and it was nice to see a horror film that didn't revolve specifically around 20-somethings]; a cursed farm where scarecrows are stuffing their victims full of zombifying straw is pretty freaky.
However, as I'm guessing several people have stated, the plot was too slow and kind of weak. More people should have turned up as zombies, and the farm shouldn't have been randomly found.
Here are some of my suggestions: Remake the movie, but 1) make the farm the place the robbers are /suppose/ to be going, as in it's a "great" hideout they heard about from some intel, 2) emphasize more of the straw-stuffing and zombifying, instead of just killing; make the ghouls organ-snatchers and give them a reason for doing so, 3) Add more robbers to keep the pace of the film going strong [keep the movie at least at 75 min], and 4) give the film a stronger ending. Skeletons of past people buried in the fields should come up and out, add at least one explosion, etc. etc.
I think that's everything.
