Not bad at all. I liked the the way the writer gave subtle hints throughout the unfolding of the story. Little bits and pieces of the brother's sanity gone, each piece fading away with repeated alienation and the injection of his older sisters fantasy world putting the character at the brink of reality and madness. The concept of what he had done to the grandfather in itself is quite sick and demented, the story eluding to these acts as reactions to the actions of his narcissistic naivete family.The story was quite awesome. Id like to see the writer paired with his thoughtful and creative equal for a director. Some shots were great while others lacked in or lessened the intended effect or emotion.This is simply my opinion and if you don't like it then you don't like it and I could be totally
wrong about the writer's intention with his plot but again it is just my opinion (or what I took from the experience).If you are even somewhat of a critical thinker and like a little mystery you may just enjoy this flick, and even if you don't like it at least appreciate the creativity of the writer.

The most pointless movie i have ever seen. waste of an hour and a half of my life.

I like this movie. I think it's one of the best on Hulu [points awarded are compared with other Hulu movies]. Yes, it's British...so maybe it's a bit too witty and subtle for some people (my fellow Americans) who are used to monsters running around with chain saws, giant slasher "Saw," and "Hostel" movies and their ilk. Less blood was sprayed on me and it required me to think a tiny, tiny bit.

This was sooo booorrrriiiinnnng! Then again, it's British. Nothing in the film explored the vision of the clown in the bathroom or the stranger with the interesting dog on the road, or Brian noticing that he wasn't the one who put the kettle on while he was washing up. Or the clown pictures or the phone message.Everything takes place in the last half hour, so the viewer is forced to watch horrible acting and a worthless plot with too many flashbacks that explain nothing.I suppose it could have been worse, but I don't really see how.The best part of the film is when the viewer realizes it's over.

I love movies based on fairytales and such, but it was kind of a disappointment. Oh well...I'm guilty of watchig B movies all the way through, though this one wasn't THAT bad. The mother reminds me of the evil stepmother in the Disney's Cinderella. Aha!

I'll avoid commenting on the bad acting, low-budget shooting, and other obvious things. . . but I'm simply wondering why the witch of a sister gets to live? She started this entire mess yet she gets to live? Hell no. I'd have sliced and diced her if I were Brian. . . the whole reason he ended up like this was because of her.
