Sliders: Into the Mystic

This is not a rip-off of The Wizard of Oz its a parody. Lots of shows do parody's of other shows and other things. sometimes its just a few "Easter eggs" here and there and sometimes its alot more.
Proff.= lion (courage)
Quinn= scarecrow (brain)
new Q= Oz
Wade= dorthy
Remmy= tin man
The "Golden" bridge= golden brick road
midget with a double-barrel= awesomeness

and maybe some more things idk

Maybe the writer was inspired by The wizard of Oz when he was younger and wanted to do this to pay tribute.

lolz on discussing the absurdity of vampires with magical powers in other universes but being perfectly ok with the existence of vampires and other magical beings.

The sorceror, well his appearance by way of hologram seemed to be a vampire. Which is absurd even in a parallel Universe vampires were pretty low on the magical totem pole possessing hardly if any magical powers to be considered sorceric. Another thing it seemed to also favour a twisted form of The Wizard of Oz. Now don't get me wrong it was a great episode but wow.

What?

1)I never understand why they just don't hide until they can slide once again.
2)How does the hole stay open long enough to all four of them to take their sweet as* time to go in and then close right way when all four are in?
3)Why is the taxi always old? I know its 1996ish but com'on!

Side notes:
-Cool bridge! Does anyone know if it really exist?
-Guard with the unibrow? What! Hilarious!
-Little guy's voice was sooo funny!

If the acting was better in this show it would have probably been a cult success. I don't mind, but it does hold the series back alot.

If it was better it might have taken a bit of thunder from Stargate.
