Typical Roman Polanski; weird, bizarre, and macabre. It was like a train wreck, I simply couldn't look away from the carnage. It is a study, I guess, in film noir and I honestly had to keep watching to find out what happens, which is to its credit, but I can't say it was great B-movie fare; it just is what it is and that's all that it is. Probably one of the strangest movies I have ever seen, making Rosemarie's Baby look coherent and well written, but it's definately a trip. I've never seen anything quite like it.
