Japanese guy moves to America and learns the mistake he made. Americans are all Thugs and Mobsters. Hit and run deathtrap American Automobiles. Just tap bumpers and Kaboom! Those American Mob bosses are tough as Ninjas though... No, wait till I get set-up. There now, ATTACK ME! Eyahhh. Hassan CHOP! Ahahahaha.
If I didn't know what I was gonna get when I started watching this and expected a "Fine, Fine Film" I would want the Producers sentenced to 200 hours of community service for making such a miserable thing as this. As it goes though this is a fun waste of time on a boring Saturday afternoon. Kinda like it was watching Abbot and Costello or a Hercules Movie.
I give it one thumb up, to the first knuckle that is.
the star system is not right here. Two stars is pretty good for a C Movie.

Kraft Ninjas..... They're cheesier.

Love all the Sho Kasugo has ever done and this is no exception. This is one of the best or at least very good. I do love a good Martiat Arts movie, wish you had more....

Having not seen this movie since it came out so many years ago.. i have to say that were it not for the style of Sho, this movie would suck. yes the plot was ok, the acting was less than adequate but with Sho and his kids doing their own stunts makes this movie what it is.. a fun albeit slow ride to Ninja Heaven.the spotty directing was a disaster, the editing was even worse..and the dialogue was typical "ninja/kung fu american style"for ninja lovers it's a good throwback to the 80's but other than this id say it's just another forgetful title in the genre...i wish Sho could look back on his career in the movies and be happy he doesn't have to be in a movie with these other lame actors again.

I really liked this movie. I have always been a fan of 80s and 90s martial arts films and this one was right up my alley! The only thing I really didn't like was the cheesy theme song. What's that all about??

I think this may have been the most inept portayal of the mob ever. The actors did quite well given the atrocious writing, Sorry James Booth, do not mean to throw you under the bus. The story line was weak, and in parts downright painful. They need to send Gordon Hessler back to the shadows for his directing.. Sho Kosugi did his own stunts which is a hallmark of a great martial art film. The fight double for James Booth sort of threw me. All of a sudden a guy in his twenties magically appears does a high kick, rushes up the ladder and then it was James again. I also loved the latex police uniform in the hospital. The officer Limehouse strangled was half his size, yet the uniform fit perfectly. I wish I knew what kind of fabric that was made of. I'd make a fortune. "See, it really is size 1!" Incongruity aside it was fun to watch and I look forward to seeing some of Kosugi' s other films.

The villian James Booth was a joke. He made my female parts want to close shut forever. I love kung-fu movies but this left something to be desired. The eggroles I liked the crackers I didn't. That is the only reason for 3 stars.
