depressing, dark, unsympathetic, unnatural future for humanity. 1984ish hell we are headed for as a society bent of control and manipulation using medication and brainwashing....a grim future that is not so far way if we continue on our current path away from nature and melded with machines. Very "prison" like environment and all around corporate life-like in theory. I'm depressed now. And not because of the movie, becasue I see much of what the movie was trying to express in real life...You won't like this movie if your trying to find something up-beat and fun to watch, but you will if you feel like this movie and need a reason for your sadness. It is a reality that we were warned about, but still found a way to produce as our only option it seems...

Slow, dark, dull and uninteresting

this movie did not take any real sci into its writing that I could see.even if you give them the sci -fantasy(like Ann macafferty sp) its not easy to buy into.
1. 6year olds are not old enough to be adults.yes they can work but not as this implies. one reason no kids in the movie.
2. the sci shown would not be advanced enough for artificial gestation.
Felt more like it was written by someone from right to life who is a paranoid believer in conspiracy's. ie; kennedy was shot by aliens.
I think that the story had potential but needed a lot more work before it was ready to make into a movie or book. this seems more like a first outline to someones work than finished

Wow, this certainly was a creepy movie...but somehow I think living like this is not so far off in the future...it seems as though man is it's worst enemy.
