I see alot of people ragging on the simpsons, and i, myself have thought that the quality was declining in recent years. Mind you i believe that alot of episodes lately have been hit and miss and that the golden age of the simpsons was in seasons 6-7. Back then alot of the comedy was based on the characters and their stories, whereas recent episodes have become more current. but in these newer episodes I see the original characters shine through even in these wacky situations. I like alot of the news episodes the family acts the way they should, and the comedy, though possibly hyper current is still fresh :D
