I liked it a lot until the end.
The thing that disturbs me is that it reminds me of how my mother put us kids in jeopardy because she wanted a nice house. She should have trusted her instincts and left. Tying the story up with a neat little pink bow almost justifies very irresponsible behavior. When there are no kinds involved, fine. When you have a daughter to protect, tolerating behaviors like that are unacceptable. It was fun to watch, but in retrospect, it really made me mad. "An understanding". Sure
