I mean i know lots of people who gets annoyed by their accent and to be quiet honest with you, we have to get used to it, i mean companies gonna go where they could get their work done more ceaply...

What folks in America might not realise is that the biggest export of the US to India is culture. Indians have a perpetual infatuation with the states with more Indians looking favourably upon the US than Americans themselves. I think the US could re-learn a few things from India in return like living within means and encouraging kids to learn science and technology instead of branding them as nerds and geeks.

tech support is one thing. Anyone with a brain will realize that a techie may be their only hope of getting their equipment to do what they paid for it to do. That's why people are nice to techies. Telemarketing, on the other hand, can bring out the exact opposite response. I am not ashamed to admit that I have been downright cruel to telemarketers. See 3 other replies
