Holy crow!!! A lesson about "stranger danger" and anonymous social networks delivered 50 years ahead of its time!
I was really surprised by this story -- for once the dialogue wasn't filler pap, the script was actually a little long, so they had to rush through it. At last, a woman character shown as smart and witty, not some emotional wreck. Even the dad kept his wits and asked good questions instead of jumping to outlandish conclusions.
Though the story is simple, the way the dialogue is handled is far superior to most of the other stories.
My only gripes would be that - yet again - someone is tinkering with weird science in the basement, and somehow, every home in the year 1952 seems to have a supply of dynamite in the closet ?!? Did people really need so many high explosives for home use? Part of the fishing gear, I guess.....:)
