Just in case he actually doesnt know. The beeping you hear are teh timers that are used. When the timers go off then the blinds go up. In a tournament like this there is no overall clock and each table has its own independent clock. If you happened to see early in the first match there was a background dealer that was dealing whith what looked to be a marked card. Their clock stops while everyone else is actively playing.
