The objective of this documentary and the importance of preserving the wall is to not bury the past. Wonderful statement that I agree with whole-heartedly, however, there was not a clear explanation given to who, what, where, when, why, how to the creation of it. If I was a 12 year old in any country, perhaps even Germany, I would not have a clear reasoning as to why it was in existence or how it came into existence in the first place occurred.
How can anyone understand why this should not happen again, if they don't have a clear understanding of what happened in the first place? Just seemed that many contributors forgot the rest of the world didn't live in Berlin and/or our history books do not begin following introduction with, "Chapter 1: History of Berlin"
