I think the idea for this one was good. But I couldn't understand why the character acted so irrational in the beginning. If we lose our memories do we become unsympathetic and unreasonable as well? I can understand some degree of insanity after losing all your memories, but eventually you would regain your composure and be able to communicate like a normal human being. His erratic behavior in the homeless shelter seems unexplainable but it did progress the plot, which is what they were going for I'm guessing.
I also don't understand why Outer Limits ends so many of their episodes on a bad note. Although I do appreciate the mix of good and bad endings. It always keeps me guessing. In this case it could have ended either way and still have been good.
'Fair' seemed a reasonable rating for this episode given some unrealistic character development amidst a great plot. It's sad that this was a better piece of work than the feature film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" which essentially touched on the same subject.
