Written by a woman, this episode treats as normal that home arts, entertainment and culture are not a women's ghetto, even though such sections were still called "women's sections" all over the country. Here we are, nearly 40 years later and, while most communities take for granted other titles besides "the women's section" in their local media, there's still a glass ceiling, the work isn't taken as seriously and, for the most part, hard news is still dominated by heterosexual white men. This episode was quite forward thinking for its time.I also truly enjoyed seeing New Mexico nearly half a decade ago. How times have changed! It's no longer the quaint, wild west out here...at least, not at the airports! This entire series could be reworked to include modern media and would be a fabulous show! It hasn't dated, except for those hideous, wide, short ties!
