that the women can't see that they posses the very same qualities that they claim made men bad. Their hatred, fear, selfishness and jealousy lead to the actions of this episode just as much as the man's did. They are filled with the very same prejudice and bigotry that they claimed men had. While the guy in this episode was definitely not the smartest nor best example of a man, he was not solely at fault. They take almost a prevese pleasure in the fact that all the men where killed off and claim that this even shows them to be the peaceful, life affirming gender. They seem to forget that not all men are like what they describe and a lot of good men died along with the ones that just wanted to hate and kill. The whole episode is rather disgusting to me, and this is coming from a woman.

While this episode may be the fantasy of the likes of Ellen or Rosie, according to the CIA World Factbook, there is currently a surplus of about 50 million more men than women on the planet. Although in this day and age it is conceivably possible that such a scenario could happen as to greatly reduce the number of males; but nothing on the scale where there would be only 11 males left. This episode also reminds of something I read in the Book of Isaiah (13:12): "I will make a man more precious than fine gold, even the golden wedge of Ophir." God forbid an event taking place that would make this "Lithia" episode prophetic, however, if it did occur, I should be so lucky, as to be among the few men to survive.

Its funny to read about how some of you thought how sexist " Lithia" was. Though it does reflect of how the opposite has occurred in real life (men dominating over women) It doesn't really show us how things really would work out. At one point, one or more of these women would have rebelled, or gotten really smart and found out they were being screwed over. Women-only places does NOT equal peace, but this is a TV show for crying out loud, not a political statement. The male character, Jason, mentions this briefly that they are being overpowered by the larger colony and eventually destroyed.Good twist ending. It's a shame that this particular episode has been heavily edited and censored. A part of what was cut out was integral to the plot. Yes, there were boobies, but it contained something that was absolutely needed for you to understand relationships here. I'd give it another star for the full version.
