There is a plethora of controversy over the topic of Zac Effron. However, I am not here to settle the dispute, but instead I am here to excacerbate it because it needs to be done. As we know it, acting is one of the better paying job out there. Furthurmore, it requires you to have some tallent, such as being convincing and entertaining. This makes me ask myself, why does effron have the job? Is he being paid for his "good looks?"If this is the way the acting buisness worked and I was an employer, I would just go to a male strip club and pick out a "good looking" guy and hire him. However, that is not how it works for the most part. They would not be judged of very highly when it comes to showing in the mature audience. The reason Zac Effron has had success is because he was advocating to prepubesant children and teenagers. Being known that he lacks real acting tallent, he should not try to impress adult audiences because it will fail, just like he did on SNL. When I think about it, I realize that you cannot stop him from making a large sum of money off of children because they are oblivious real acting skills, but he will never make it to the higher echelons of acting because he can't act.May I suggest that if the makers of SNL like their show and want to keep it that they do not make the mistake of having a want-to-be actor on their show again. Also, may I suggest to Zack Effron that he should not become pretentious because you will not be accepted into the major leagues. However, he is the perfect candidate for the Disney Channel's requirements, childish and "handsome."   See 6 other replies

A lot of them are reading cue cards when they are looking into the camera. You can see it on a bunch of sketchs. Not just the Zac Effron ones. Even the cast does it sometimes.   See 6 other replies

If you think that is a convincing german accent, then you've obviously never even spoken to a German. Every other skit of this episode was brought down severely by his stiff acting and how he pretentiously looked DIRECTLY into the camera multiple times in each one. No one is a good enough actor to get away with that, much less some kid whose entire acting career is a mediocre series of musicals and a mediocre matthew perry movie. And these are just minor observations, I only saw the episode twice and noticed the problem both times.   See 6 other replies
