Being in acting school and a professional actress, it was hard to watch the low level of acting. The overall message was great though! There was no bad language, and the message was very positive.

The film was okay, it dealt with some real issues, like drugs, alcohol and sexuality which are implied through out the film. Some strong implied advances in a couple scenes and some kissing scenes. The minister gets caught up in a scandal with a student that doesn't look good, but truth always prevails. A couple instances of violence one involving a gun.

As a teacher of the Faith, I feel this movie just tried to keep it real. They were not the best of actors, but yet they did carry out the Message of Christ. They did do a great job in teaching life is hard, but we all have purpose and can get there with the help of God.
The Minister did write, and was speaking of the right stages of living a good life for God and for ourselves as good people. God, Love, Marriage and Family.
The kissing, well people really do kiss, and it was as if they were alone. As for the Minister kissing his life in front of his wives friends, well that was to show the people how her friends were, one was a true and loving friend, and the other was not. Jealousy in a friend makes for not a healthy friendship. Family and friends Do kiss in front of each other all the time, If the family is a close and loving one. No! I don't mean a Get A Room kind of kissing. Watch again, and watch with the Holy Spirit within you, and not with a mind of judging. Take it for what they worked so hard to teach, The truth. 1. God first Always 2. Love, for God, yourself and others, 3.Marriage, with God in the marriage, which will make for a stronger love between the couple, Family, God should be the center of the home,and the family, this way the family will grow and branch out with good fruit, will be feed from the Holy Spirit to make a stronger bond between each one in that family.
We all see things different. Even Teachers in the faith/ and Ministers. We are human and do make mistakes But always try to get people to follow Gods path. Gods Blessings to you all, Now and Forever. A message to the actors in this movie: Don't quit your day gigs!

I saw this movie and really didn't care for the acting as long as the movie showed morals and values (biblical). Having seen many Christian movies with average acting this is the first which I totally felt did not portray the Christian walk accurately. First of all, it more resembled a Christian soap opera. Secondly the kissing between the husband and wife were very inappopriate and something like you would see in a R rated movie. What really shocked me was the fact that the movie promoted marriage, love towards a partner and only showing those affections for the person you love. I had assumed that the pastor and his wife were actually a real married couple and that is why they were kissing in the scenes. I found out that they are not and therefore their actions were unblical. There are many good christian movies which don't have all the soapy, kissing and contradictory things in it. If you love movies which have a soap opera feel to it this is it but for a Christian this movie misses the mark. I often ask myself "are the directors or writers who did this" christians themselve.

Yes, the acting was not excellent... but this movie was great. I would recommend it to anyone. I thought at first I would have a hard time watching because of the acting and the way everything was pieced together, but I'm glad I watched the whole film. Give it a chance... it's totally worth it!
