Dillinger

I was engrossed. Dramatic music. A morality play which thrills with immorality.

Gave me something to do this afternoon, and I loved the commercials. Historically, I guess this movie is about right, but as far as coincidences are concerned, at the very end of the movie, take a gander at Dillinger's character, sporting a oustache and sunglasses, and how much he looks like Johnny Depp wearing the same gear. I'm a fan of old movies. Why? I'm old that's why. Enjoy the movie.

We need someone to come along and give this movie a "Proper" review.
"Charles C" did a good job, and "beauwulff" wasn't to bad.

Sorry if you feel like I'm knit-picking, but reading the other two reviews, I got no sense of what this movie is about, just a couple "spoilers"

the only thing i didn't like is how it never went back around to the theater with his dad telling his story.

"Watch for the one in red".... yeah, um, its a black and white movie

More movies should begin and end with cloudy skies and fake rain! Pure genius!

Great hardboiled '40's style gangster pic. Who cares if it isn't historically accurate.

I was disappointed to see the way they portrayed Dillinger in this film. As this is a movie from the earlier years, It's obvious that it's motives were to skew the public's opinion. They made him out to be a coward and a wimp at the beginning and then a psycho on a killing spree at the end. Being from Indiana, I've always put forth attention with enthusiasm to my state's history and it's plain to see that this film was purely propaganda.
