I agree with Thomas, watch Closed Captions on normal shows and you get used to seeing the words and reading them. I've gotten to the point that I tend to forget I'm watching something Subbed because I read the subs so much. Both styles have there benefits and I have watched and will continue to watch both. Honestly I'm grateful enough that Funimation has allowed HULU to stream this that I can't say I'd complain. As many of the others said, its free and you can't be picky if you want free things. However, I do think that subbed are more true to the original and that to please the majority, it would be more wise to continue with subbed and stream more anime then fight battles to get both dubbed and subbed for fewer.   See 24 other replies

Dub vs. sub is a debate long running. My preference is both. I like watching an anime in english then watching it again in japanese just to see the differences. If you find it difficult to read while watching, try turning on the caption on your TV whenever you watch something. Eventually it becomes second nature to seeing the words on the screen.   See 24 other replies

I never said the show would be bad, just that the dubs werent worth my time. Since most anime is from japan, there will always be a sub of it before there will ever be a dub. Often times if I find a dubbed version I will search again specifically for subtitles and find way more of the subs than I do dubbed.I used to think Dubs were okay...then I actually got into subtitles and realized how different they became when they were changed into dubbed. =/ As an English tutor and English major, I dont like censorship.
