Ive never understood this. Makes for an entertaining show, but I just dont get it. Where do they think they are going to go? Why are they resisting once theres 5-10 cops all around them? Are they that stupid?

Being a service man, I have alot of respect for the uniform. But, I think the officer should have shown some repore(sp.). What I observed is the(suspect) was complying with the officers request. With no visable threat, the officer chose to physically take on the situation.
I think the officer should have used a more investigative approach. "what's going on?". It seems to me that this scene is showing that young, alone and eager police officers should be aware of peoples rights.
When these new cops get some experience. it will be better law enforcement, My point is, new cop, you gain what you present...respect.

lulz, i love how everyone calls the cop racist. so some guy is hanging out at 3:45am. The cop is just casually driving by and he says "what's this guy doing? he's messing with this girl. im going to see what's going on." why does the color of the guy's skin even matter in that situation? Obviously, some punk was bothering people on the street at 3:45 am. Take a look at how scummy the neighborhood was... If i were the cop i would have just held my gun out the window, shot the guy in the face, and kept driving. That way he could skip the paperwork.But no, this cop decides he's going to save the world, gets out and the look on the kids face tells you immediately that he is guilty of about 4,837 different things. Surprise surprise, the idiot kid tries to run away. Considering the fact that he was resisting arrest, i thought the officer was EXTREMELY gentle. I would have body slammed the little thug.
