I thought this was just wonderful. Truely funny and lafugh around every second, I just loved it true comedy. They dont make them like that any more.........

These are classics, most of which came from their Vaudville routines. If you watch any modern comedy you will see elements that came directly from these guys. Timing, trick substitution, the classic straight guy routines all started on TV with these early comic pioneers. See 10 other replies

I always enjoyed their feature films, but felt their tv program lacked in the writing department and lost some of the luster the comedy team had in their films. Stiil
a good watch but nothing to stand in line for. Their comedy was clean, as most
comedy teams were in those days. Comfortable viewing for escape.

I think that it's safe to say that Abbott and Costello were some of America's last true comedians. Everyone nowadays thinks that they need to curse to be funny. These two were amazing and CLEAN.
