Willie is one of the reasons the remade series far exceeds the older soap opera. Instead of being a sniveling wimp, he is a hilarious goofball who does whatever Barnabas tells him to. "Too bad you can't see yourself in the mirror, you look terrific!"Carolyn's portrayal is also superior. Maggie Evans has gone from being a total moron to a smart woman. David can read his lines. Only Roger, as played as the quintessential stooge by Louis Edmonds in the soap, is disappointing, although at least he scores in this version. And as over the top this Trask is, he's not the complete jackass from the soap. One of my favorite characters, wearing more make-up than any of the women.

Not feeling that. I would have much rather him been a sinister Igor type rather than the very over acted stupid type. Ugh golly gee wiz Barnabus Ugh she gonna be aight aint she?

Great Actress who although she is a two time Emmy Winner (daytime), I thought when we were young in LA and she was one of the lead actresses at the Glendale Center Theater, she would go much further...It's great to see Ellen, thanks Hulu.

Things are looking up. Yes, Willy is a very good character. I can see the other Willy from the original and he too was good. I don't remember though if he was as comedic as this one.
I can't wait to see what happens next.:)
