So, when Jack and Sam are stuck in Antarctica and couldn't dial Earth (because they were already there), why didn't they try dialing another planet? At least somewhere they wouldn't freeze to death?

the earthlings. They are like the little planet that could. Sure they have their faults, but give em' a cool toy like the stargate and they can find a way to get into all sorts of mischief while somehow kicking serious but t See 13 other replies

The Tollan. They are all skinny, attractive, disease free, have no religion to hold them back, technologically advanced, and although they seem arrogant, its not malicious in any way.
Too bad they had to die off because of a simple plot device. I would think under threat they would be able to wipe out the G'ouald easily. The only thing I don't understand in SG-1 is why certain races always refer to themselves in the 3rd person. The Asgard do it as well, its very annoying. See 13 other replies

thast one of the few things of stargate that bothers me. a lot of times they have speedy ends so that u don't get to see the teams reaction to the truth :( See 4 other replies
