I just wanted to make a note about my feelings on some of the discussions posted here. I don't think that revealing what goes on in a 'cracked' situation is in anyway, glorifying it. She is only brave because of her willingness to be exposed with her fears and struggles... I wonder if Alex would be so brave to have his innermost fears and flaws exposed to the world, no matter what the reason. Also I do believe in intervention, because, sometimes this is the only way a person comes to change their mind about the life they are living. Thank You for this film Paul and Lisa.

thank you Lisa for letting this film come out about you it has opened my eyes to helping me understanding my brother in law for the last ten years I could not understand why he had to have drugs (crack) but thanks to you I now see what he is going through I hope that you and Nicole are do okay but thank you so much for showing the world what is going on in the mind of some one that is sick on this drug

She was very brave to show her life like she did.Im an expert on addicts since Ive been one for fifteen years.I know alot of addicts and the central theme Ive noticed with most of us is how we can fool the people around us into thinking that we are just fine.Ive gone through alot of crap in these years and the last thing I would want would be for the world to witness it.I also came from a middle class background and had never been abused.From the moment I drank that first beer and smoked that first joint in High School I have been addicted to something ever since. This is a revealing portrait of a real drug addiction and what an addict will accept as rational behavior as part of the illness. She understands it's an illness. Her struggle is heartbreaking. However drug addled she may be, I applaud her courage in allowing this to be filmed and released.

I liked the topic,but I think the filmaker could have cut to various shots instead of spending nearly 20 or more minutes letting Lisa ramble. The questions could have been more investigative. I liked the beginning and was very indicative of an independent film,but I wouldn't want to watch this again.

I didn't learn much from this. Definitely a sad video and helps in raising awareness of what drugs do to people, but I didn't really like the filming style. In trying to be gritty and real, I think a lot of the substance was lost...for example, when the interviewer asked her where she got her needles from, the phone rang and the question wasn't posed again for another twenty minutes.

I would have liked to see a more formal interview style format, where the tough questions were asked instead of ignored. Also didn't like how the interviewer snickered several times during the filming...very unprofessional.
