I will agree with a few other viewers when they say that this is a well-crafted documentary. I personally do not care for the style, but it marries itself well with the subject matter. When we enter the world of the Dandy Warhols there is something controlled, odd and straightforward about it. But once the camera turns its lens on BJM, we suddenly enter a realm of chaos, where it's a little hard to follow what's happening but you know whatever it is isn't good.In terms of the two bands, I found that they were both caught in their own delusional world. They spoke of being a revolution for music--they both just had their own ways of doing it. Personally, I don't care for whatever revolution they're trying to bring. I'm not into that sort of music and--to me--it seems to lack the genius factor that that they're aiming for. I can appreciate their attempts, however, to create something new out of something old. I just don't buy into it personally.I find it interesting how much Courtney of the Dandy's is involved in the film in comparison to Anton. It's actually ironic how hard he tries to portray the other band as completely self-absorbed and delusional (while still acknowledging Anton's genius, of course) but fails to realize his own similar short-comings.
